How split is it to make a movie like "Bed Rabbit"?

In my opinion, the differences between "Bed Rabbit" and "Paddington Bear" and "The Smurfs" are far greater than the commonalities. "The Smurfs" tells an American cartoon story in a proper manner. "Paddington Bear" is full of sweet and innocent cures in English fairy tales, while "Peter Rabbit" is somewhat weird by comparison. Its narrative logic and method are too good.
