It's amazing how a young director can translate the emotional details of characters into images with such precision. The piano play, the attic slideshow, and the open ending were all amazing. The structure/detail echoes, composition and photography are great. The only (minor) downside is that some of the metaphors are too neat (straightforward): like the ticking of the second hand as the clock ticks by, or the attic as a metaphor for inner/past secrets. The structure is a bit like "Old Horse of Turin", and the cruelty index is lower than that of "Love".
