Probably since Chappie began to show childlike innocence and fear, he began to feel anxious for him and wanted to get him out of the clutches of "Dad". From this, you can feel the preciousness of human emotion and consciousness.
The only thing I don't like is that the villain is not three-dimensional, and he is a bit simple and naive. It seems to be born to shape the value and heroic behavior of Chappie to save the world.
The whole movie has a moderate pace, a humorous style, good music, short sadness and a happy ending.
It is a lighthearted and warm sci-fi action movie.
