good subject, bad story

The start is very good, and the topics raised are also very good, but the story as a whole is very stretched, and there is basically no logic to make sense. The story does not have a completely positive character, nor does it have an obvious human protagonist, which makes it difficult for the general audience to substitute, and thus cannot find the point. There are also police bots that have Internet access, but in the end Chappie uses the Internet on the PS4, which is outrageous. Moreover, after connecting to the Internet, Chappie's personality did not improve, and did not show "growth", but just extracted the necessary knowledge and quickly used PS4 as the carrier (that was outrageous) to analyze and calculate the existence of "consciousness". Speaking of the good aspects, some perspectives on AI in the play are worth pondering: The breakthrough from AI to AGI, that is, from tools to intelligent life, is very likely to depend on the achievements of an individual, and the breakthrough of this individual is very likely It poses a threat to the entire human race, but this individual may be anyone, so there is no way to prevent such a thing from happening, so every second we live now may be the last second of human beings. Traditional science fiction says that AI may destroy humans, but the play gives a new perspective: analyzing "consciousness" can also "upgrade" humans into robots, which makes humans and machines not inevitable Opposed. Although the whole social formation will suffer a huge shock, it is obviously better than being destroyed or ruled. Overall, the theme is good, but the story is too bad.
