1. The communication between lovers is very important. At first, it was obvious that Ailin’s husband supported her, but his father did not support her. Later, it was still the father’s support that was important. It was the father who understood the daughter.

2. Even in the same group, the students do not understand each other's contradictions and estrangement. It will make everyone more united and not feel lonely if they say what they think and experience through many small activities. This is often overlooked in the team, this kind of communication with the help of external forces.

3. I didn't want to understand how a man feels about his wife. It was a pity that the divorce ended up. There is a dilemma between career and family.

4. Although the third-grade teacher is a bit extreme, I think the final outcome is not perfect. It is best that the third-grade teacher can change and accept this group of students. This group of students also realizes a lot of truth.
What if this is the fifth grade?
The attitude of that middle-aged supervisor, Mrs. Campbell, is very real. Everyone is defending their rights and interests.

I am also a teacher. If I were in this middle school, I would stand firmly on the side of the teaching director played by Imelda Staunton. I would choose the "correct" and "conventional" teaching methods that were easy for me. Erin Gruwell did not , Because she has great wisdom and courage.

    Education Inequality, Ailin's Charisma

Freedom Writers quotes

  • Eva: White people wanting respect like they deserve it for free.

Erin Gruwell: I'm a teacher, it doesn't matter what color I am.

Eva: It's all about color, it's about people deciding what you deserve, about people wanting what they don't deserve. About whites thinking they own this world no matter what, you see, I hate white people.

Erin Gruwell: You hate me? You don't even know me.

Eva: I know what you can do. I saw white cops shoot my friend in the back for reaching into his pocket, his pocket! I saw white cops come into my house and take my father away for no REASON except they feel like it! Except because they can! And they can, because they're white. So I HATE white people on sight!

  • Margaret Campbell: You're an honor student. If you transfer to Mrs. Gruwell's class, think how that'll reflect on your records.

Victoria: It doesn't matter to me, my grades will still be the same. Look, Ms. Campbell, when I first transferred to this school, I had a 4.0 average. But when I applied for advanced placement in English and Math, I was told it'd be better for me to be in a class of my own kind. Now, when I did get in, my teacher said "Victoria! It's not everyday one finds an African American student in AP and Honors courses!"... As if I didn't notice. And when I asked another Honors teacher why we don't read more black literature, she said, "We don't read black literature because of all the sex, drugs, cussing, and fornication". I thought a simple... "It's inappropriate"... would have sufficed.
