At the beginning, I thought it was a CM prequel, but after watching 2 episodes, I thought the origin story called Criminal Minds was more appropriate. It’s been a long time since I’ve come across a drama that appeals to me with a crime theme, and the elements are all to my liking: the sense of age, the meticulous soundtrack, and the emotional ending episode (S01E01 Mulholland Road’s song made my hair stand up as soon as it played), not so basic partner CP. What is attractive is that it is different from the deification of the Silence Lambs or the stylized narrative of criminal psychology. These serial killers are thought-provoking because they are more like ordinary people in daily life.
There is only one question in my heart, why is the male one sometimes so handsome and sometimes so old and haggard?
