choice and destiny

At the end of the film, it is written that fate is not the road given to us, but the road we choose.
I disagree, because not everyone has the opportunity to choose.

Just like the megamind when he was a teenager, does he have the right to choose where to land? no.
Innate conditions can only make megamind a bad person and get used to being a bad person.
If it weren't for the chance to fall in love with a roxanne later, he would have been bad.
Would megamind choose without roxanne?
He may not even know what the choice is.

We are born in the world, and many things have no choice, that is fate.
Even if we have choices, it's not an infinite range, just a few options.
And many times, we choose without purpose, just casting lots.
One, we don’t know what we want, so we just pick one.
The second is that we cannot see the consequences of the options, so we can only be blinded by one.

All choices have consequences or consequences.
Any choice will be more or less risky.

The ancients summed up life in such a sentence, which is the most appropriate.
Man proposes, God disposes.

There is no certainty in this world, there is no absolute. We can only do that part of ourselves righteously well, the rest is up to God.

Megamind quotes

  • Megamind: [catches up with Roxanne] I can explain!... What about everything you just said, about judging a book by its cover?

Roxanne Ritchi: Well, let's take a look at the contents then, shall we? You destroyed Metro Man, you took over the city, and now you've actually got me to care about you! Why are you so evil? Tricking me? What could you possibly hope to gain?

[Megamind looks up at Roxanne sadly]

Roxanne Ritchi: ...Wait a minute. Ohhh... I don't believe this! Do you really think I that would ever be with you?

    Megamind: [whispers] ... No.

  • [Titan hurls a skyscraper]

    Roxanne Ritchi: What's the plan?

Megamind: Well, it mostly involves NOT DYING!

Roxanne Ritchi: I like that plan!
