just ok

I watched it with a heavy heart. I watched the original German subtitled version in English in a German-speaking country. Most of the time, I was stunned, but I could feel the hatred and unwillingness that overflowed the screen. I was very flustered when I watched the movie. Combined with my own experience, no amount of comedy elements could make me laugh easily.

The lens is like it. What impressed me more was the few moments when black power and white power alternated. The progressive emotions became more and more intense. When watching the movie, it seemed that I was unconsciously stimulated by the alternating fire and ice, and I also felt the absurdity of the people in the play. Seeing crazy people on the way home now is very scary. I don't want to watch this movie a second time.

After watching it, I was in a panic. On the afternoon of the first day of the show in New York, the half-black and half-white audience laughed together and walked out of the theater silently after watching it, as if unwilling to return to the reality at the moment. However, I don't think it's one of Spike Lee's best films, probably in the 1970s when he was too young to talk about it on paper. The most flammable is a series of trailers for new films made by black people before the broadcast, as if the turbulent 1970s are coming back.

68/100 Spike Lee's moderate political views are undoubtedly revealed. He is a radical who rejects resorting to violence, prefers a cooperative model, and looks forward to solving problems from within the system. But in the end, it's hard for me not to ask a question, is it really necessary for the black male protagonist to exist in this story?

BlacKkKlansman quotes

  • Master Patrolman Andy Landers: Let me tell you both something, I've been keeping you people in line in this city for years. What I did to your girl that night, I can do to any of you. Any time. Any place. That's my prerogative. I can even bust a cap in your *black ass* if I feel like it and nuthin' will be done about it.

  • Chief Bridges: All good things must come to an end.

Ron Stallworth: What does that mean?

    Chief Bridges: Budget cuts.

    Flip Zimmerman: Budget cuts?

Jimmy Creek: And when did this happen? Last night?

Chief Bridges: I wish I had a choice; but, my hands are tied with this inflation. Besides, there no longer appears to be any credible threats.
