A tribute to traditional science fiction

I saw the trailer of "Paul" on HBO. Brother Paul's appearance was quite amazing, so I decided to watch it. Overall a little disappointed, it's basically a road comedy of two 2 goods and an alien 2 goods, very sci-fi geek. Although the main actor is Simon Pegg, this 2 is no longer the British embarrassment of "Zombie Shaun" and "Hot Fuzz", but American shit and piss that account for a larger proportion. Of course, there are occasional highlights, such as Paul's styling and movements, such as the short section of Paul and Birdie.

The main task of this film is to pay tribute to traditional sci-fi films. I, a sci-fi blind, can recognize several things from the camera, such as "Total Recall" with three breasts. The boss is the alien nemesis Sigourney of the "Alien" series. Weaver, the alien mothership flight scene is like "Independence Day", such as where Paul goes home and the scene of waving goodbye to the crowd is like "Encounter of the Third Kind." I think the setting of aliens in this film is very comfortable, which is rare in sci-fi movies. Not only Paul, but also the "staff" on the spacecraft at the end are also very cute. When Paul stood at the mouth of the spacecraft and waved goodbye, I Almost got four stars. Unfortunately, the ending was so delayed, like a domestic TV series.
