Days in prison

Write a few sentences before reading the comment. I watched this film on the Canadian film channel. I haven't been surprised after seeing the escape, but I think I can't accept the pain of the prison. I have thought that living in Canada now is like going to jail, but mentally, it is not the physical and mental torture of a real prison. The TV version deleted part of the visit, but the full version is available on Tudou. The theme music is like crying over and over again, confession and endless repressive accusations. In the rest of your life, you can experience life in prison first-hand. If you have the opportunity to get out of prison, you can feel the joy of freedom. People in Canada live a comfortable life, but their spirits are helpless and lonely. Want to go home, but dare not go back, life.

Midnight Express quotes

  • [to the Turkish court]

Billy Hayes: For a nation of pigs, it sure is funny you don't eat'em! Jesus Christ forgave the bastards, but I can't! I hate! I hate you! I hate your nation! And I hate your people! And I fuck your sons and daughters because they're pigs! You're a pig! You're all pigs.

  • [to the Turkish court]

Billy Hayes: I just wish you could be standing where I'm standing right now and feel what that feels like; because, then, you would know something that you don't know, Mr. Prosecutor: Mercy! You would know that the concept of a society is based on the quality of that mercy; its sense of fair play; its sense of justice! But I guess that's like asking a bear to shit in a toilet.
