Looking back on a year of Hollywood, there are really not many films that can be deeply remembered, basically relying on popcorn Marvel heroes to dominate the screen for a year, the others are "Alita", "The Irishman", "Once Upon a Time in Hollywood" is Two fools made a fuss about Hollywood in the 1970s, and the director was just self-satisfied.
This film can only be classified as an urban emotional film of small characters. It is obviously a small production. However, with the solid skills and explosive acting skills of the screenwriter, director, and actors, the filming is full of tension, exciting, and climaxes.
The male protagonist's gambling, downfall, chaotic, and stressful life are vividly portrayed by the male protagonist through daily trivial conversations and phone calls. Uneasy, but also very vivid.
Through a piece of opal, the chaos and the miserable people behind the bustling city of New York are strung together. For a panoramic display of urban life, this film is a classic.
