As a representative work of American B-level films, the film is still not satisfactory, just look at the ratings. However, B-grade films are just B-grade films, with low cost and rough production. Whether it's character performance, makeup, lighting, photography, music, etc., it looks shoddy. The rhythm of the story is very slow, coupled with the lack of visual and music realization, it seems rather boring, and it does not meet the direct feeling of the fast and strong film that I expected.
Perhaps because of this, the story gives room for reverie, to think, to appreciate the world where zombies are everywhere, where danger is everywhere, and there is a risk of being eaten by zombies at every turn, and more importantly, there is despair of life. This may only be different from The uniqueness of other zombie movies is also the reason for their success.
