This film is a niche quasi-artistic film and

cannot be viewed as a light-hearted film.

The story is coherent and logical.

There are several places in the film that clearly involve worldview debates. This is a topic outside of the movie itself.

To make a film, it is a big flaw to have to create a few instances to deny the existence of the Creator.

All plots that deny the Creator can be replaced with "Hope", or a turning point. no value.

In addition to trying to explain that human beings cannot believe in the existence of a creator, is there anything else that this film wants to express?

Believe in science, do you think so many sophisticated scientific theories, mathematics, are formed naturally and by chance?

Even a purple clay teapot is not formed naturally. To abandon rational thinking to deny the existence of the Creator obviously does not have a deeper understanding of science and philosophy.

It is man-made, destiny is predetermined. Those who can grasp it well will naturally understand the mystery.

The Grey quotes

  • [first lines]

Ottway: A job at the end of the world. A salaried killer for a big petroleum company. I don't know why I did half the things I've done, but I know this is where I belong, surrounded by my own. Ex-cons, fugitives, drifters, assholes. Men unfit for mankind.

  • Ottway: [trying to calm him] It's good. It's good that it hurts.

    Flannery: It's good?

    Ottway: It's good, yeah.

Flannery: Oh well then I'm fuckin' fabulous.
