Can you weave a memory for me

Due to the unreliability of ground transportation, I missed the first five minutes in vain. Although it doesn't affect the understanding of the whole plot, it is a little bit psychological. If I loved this movie so much, I would probably watch it again. I did this once when Ha 7 was released. It should be that you have not seen the original version, otherwise you will not have no impression at all. Then simply look at the new film, without any prejudice and comparison, fair and just. The plot is actually quite old-fashioned. Anyway, it is known that the Doug brothers will save the colony in the end.

For such a sci-fi film that describes the future, there are many places worth recommending.
1. Beckinsale must come first, okay? Small smoky, slightly curly hair, dark hair color, indifferent eyes, British accent, all of which make my little deer run wild. As soon as he appeared as a cameo as an understanding wife, he was unattractive. Later, he was immediately conquered when his identity was revealed and he raised a gun. The second woman doesn't know which outer space she was thrown into. Why do I just not love women from good families, but like this kind of violent tossing goods?

2. The colonial style is a decadent oriental picture scroll. There are several Chinese characters everywhere, and the inhabitants are almost Chinese faces. I don't know if it is to portray the tendency of the Chinese to emigrate abroad or to show the degeneration of the region. Moreover, compared with the high-tech modern British Commonwealth, it is always rainy and never clears, and it may be to show that the rebels and the residents who are helpless are conquered and suppressed.

3. Maglev cars are nothing new, but the driving rights that can be exchanged at will are more humane. Those robots are easily reminiscent of Will Smith's "Enemy Machine." The chasing back and forth between the Federation and the colony is cool, especially the gravity transfer, I seem to experience it too.

4. Because I haven't seen the original version, plus the last advertisement of "Painting Memories" + Doug's meaningful smile. I can't help but wonder if all this is really just a dream. He's also the one who assembles robots on the assembly line day in and day out. When memory blurs the line between fantasy and reality, his subconscious chooses to convince himself that this is actually happening.

Total Recall quotes

  • Melina: Hauser, we've been looking for you.

Doug Quaid: Don't call me... My name is Doug Quaid. I was born August 29th. All right. I was raised by my mother. She died of cancer before my 15th birthday. I married my girlfriend when I was 29!

Melina: You were born April 29th. You were raised by your father, not your mother. He died before you were 15, but in a car crash. And believe me, you were most definitely not married.

  • Lori Quaid: You might want to give your little girlfriend a kiss goodbye. As long as she doesn't mind where those lips have been.
