As a viewer who knows little about mountaineering, I still feel that there are several flaws in the plot, and it may even appear that the producer is relatively ignorant and made some common sense mistakes. The following are listed:
1. It is more than 20,000 feet high. On the K2 peak, the climber exhaled, but there was no white mist landscape. In an environment of several tens of degrees below zero, such a situation (the exhaled heat does not condense) seems a bit weird.
2. From the perspective of professional mountaineering, especially snow mountain climbing, there are a few things that are not worth scrutinizing: the gang of great people in the play actually took off their climbing glasses on the snow mountain at an altitude of several kilometers and looked directly at the surroundings. Don't they know that this is likely to cause snow blindness for a long time? In addition, there is no shortage of more amateurish places in the play: the climbers shouted unscrupulously. Don't they know that this can easily lead to an avalanche?
3. Nitroglycerin. This thing killed several people. The stuff was obtained from the Pakistani military. Anyone who has seen the movie knows that at the end the little officer was fried and fried with nitroglycerin in the sun, and then he remembered to remind the mountaineers to be careful not to expose the explosives to direct sunlight. A soldier who has been dealing with various weapons and explosives for a long time, would he be so stupid? The great mountaineers know how to use the explosive, but don't know the precautions. Isn't it a bit ridiculous?
If the movie is carefully examined, this thing will not be able to be seen. Overall, this movie made me spend a fulfilling night.
