Only you in the world will believe me

If everyone doesn't believe me, will you believe me? There are not many people in the world who can answer "yes" without hesitation, and one of them must be a mother. When everyone thought what happened to Janet was a prank and her fears were faked, mother Peggy firmly believed in her, and always stood by her, vowing to protect her to the death. This is the part that moved me the most in the whole play. Maybe it was the insecurity in my heart, maybe it was influenced by too many film and television drama routines, when Janet showed all kinds of abnormality, I was worried that in the end everyone would not have the patience to listen to her explanation, no one Trust her, she is the only one fighting in fear. Fortunately not. As far as the plot of the movie is concerned, it's not great. It tells a less suspenseful suspenseful story about a single mother, Peggy, living in an ordinary house with her three children. Suddenly one day, the youngest daughter Janet made an old man's voice as if she was possessed by something, and made strange behaviors from time to time. Objects in the room flew around like someone was directing them. Everyone was seriously threatened. Janet safety is even more worrying. Church exorcist couple Laurie and Ed enter the family and finally find out the truth. It turned out to be an evil spirit (or a ghost? Anyway, some existence other than living things), it was attached to the former owner of this house, an old man, it controlled the old man not to leave, and made various things that hurt the family. Eventually Laurie and Eddard made it disappear by chanting the evil spirit's name. What I don't quite understand is why it is afraid of its own name? In the film, "it's afraid of an innate thing", which Laurie speculates is its name, so why is it set like this? Maybe the name represents another self. Fearing one's own name is actually afraid of another self. Just like a person, he is only fighting with his inner self all his life. The end is either compromise or victory. It is said that the film is based on real events. After learning about the reports of the original real events, I feel unbelievable. Sometimes I believe that the world is so big that there must be things beyond our knowledge. Maybe there really is some kind of spirit other than human beings! Peaceful coexistence is good, the world is so beautiful, it is good not to hurt each other.
