still prefer tragic endings

I just finished watching this anime. I've always liked comedy endings and I didn't really like this happy ending this time. I don't think the little mermaid deserves her love. For the so-called love. abandoned his relatives. Almost killed his father who loved him so much. Even the entire ocean is in danger. The movie puts love above everything else. Throughout the movie, everyone revolves around her love. Work hard for it. There is nothing wrong with her being obsessed with love. Also worth admiring. But if other things are involved. Such as sacrificing precious family affection and sacrificing the interests of others. It's too selfish to love like that. It shouldn't have such a perfect ending. Although she was unintentional. But the consequences are there. But after the movie, the witch died by accident. What if she didn't die? What if she ruled the entire ocean? Maybe my view is too adult. But I don't think it's appropriate to promote a kind of love above all else to children. Maybe in my opinion, family is more important than love. When I saw that the mermaid's father didn't hesitate to give up the throne in order to save his daughter and became a thing that didn't know anything. My heart is sour. What a great father's love. And when the mermaid chose to abandon her relatives and become human. Except for not being able to see the family after a sigh. What more do you think.
To reap the joy of love, you have to work hard for it. Go through a lot of hardships. Be persistent. Such a theme is correct. But when expressing this theme, everything else is trampled underfoot, and I can't agree.
