I have seen the big screen at the Taipei Zhongxing Department Store Film Awards Cinema, and I forgot whether it was Hall A or Hall B.
I went to see "Driving Miss Daisy" that morning; I watched "The Little Mermaid" in the afternoon in the small hall of Fuxing Cinema.
I was fortunate enough to be there in person and sit in an almost full movie theater to watch a brand new Disney cartoon film, and it was the first film in the early 1990s song and dance film Renaissance craze. It's a pity that I was young at that time (second grade in middle school), so I only read it once, otherwise, according to my current habit, I would have to watch it at least two or three times to be enjoyable.
A particularly impressive passage (I knew it when I watched it in the cinema for the first time: I saw a classic!)
1) When the theme music and title of the title subtitles light up
2) The melody of "I wanna be where the people are" sounded At the same time, the figure of the mermaid appeared in the sea (then the audience sighed!)
3) The little mermaid climbed on the stone to watch the prince, and the waves came from behind.
4) The sea witch's first appearance, the octopus claws open...
5) The entire transformation, and the last swim to the sea, the hair is lifted (silhouette)...
6) Kiss the Girl is
really memorable...
