Mermaid

Disney cartoons have always been my favorite, and every work is repeated over and over again. Is it because I'm still childish? hope so.
Disney's "The Little Mermaid" ended in a comedy, and I might have liked it more if it followed the original and ended in a bubble, because cartoons tend to have happy endings.
Completed in 1989, the main content is the beautiful and moving little fish fairy, Princess Elio, who yearns for a colorful world beyond the bottom of the water. She saves the drowning prince and strengthens her determination to get to the shore. Elio didn't listen to the warnings of his friends Xiaopang and Red Crab Sabahsin, he traded with the sea witch, used his sweet voice to change his legs, and entered the human world! But that beautiful dream turns into a race against time, and Elio must save the prince's love and his father's kingdom.
[The Little Mermaid], Disney hired musical creators Alan Menken and Howard Ashman. The beauty lies in the integration of the song, music and plot. The plot and music are closely integrated in the production process of The Little Mermaid, not separate from each other. The work finally came together. In terms of plot, Disney changed the original tragic ending to a happy reunion, and added many vivid characters, making Ariel the Little Mermaid Disney's first heroine with a modern personality. Sabastian the Red Crab, a hilarious and talented musician, is a successful performance of the close work between music and plot, creating a satisfying effect!
"Under the Sea" won the Oscar for Best Song.
"Kiss the Girl" was nominated for an Oscar for Best Song.
The music is beautiful.

Ariel: What's that word again? Street! Up where they walk, up where they run, up where they stay all day in the sun, wandering free, wish I could be part of that world!

  • Ariel: [singing] What would I give if I could live out of the water. What would I pay to spend a day warm on the sand. Bet'cha on land they understand that they don't reprimand their daughters. Bright young woman, sick of swimmin', ready to stand! And ready to know what the people know, ask 'em my questions and get some answers! What's a fire and why does it... what's the word? Burn! When's it my turn? Wouldn't I love, love to explore that shore up above? Out of the sea, wish I could be part of that world!
