It seems to be a tradition for schools to organize private movie viewings, which seem to happen once or twice every semester. This benefit has been available since elementary school. Every time it is announced, the class will be excited and noisy, and the study committee or the monitor will start an invoice, a small yellow and white note with the time and row number printed on it. Then there are precocious classmates who will call three and invite four to start changing tickets in order to sit together. Of course, the ending is painful, because every time you come back after watching it, you must write the aftermath.
As far as I can tell, just after dinner on a weekend, I went into the theater with my brother who is a high school student. Then I saw Schwarzenegger on the big screen for the first time, and saw a Hollywood movie for the first time.
Earlier, I followed a bad relative into the video room, which was mostly a Hong Kong film shootout scene. But this time, I was completely stunned when I saw the little green onion.
To be honest, it was an inexplicable enlightenment, which made me feel that there is such a big world outside. This kind of feeling is very subtle, just like when people imagine the universe outside the universe, they are vague but they also think of headaches.
Later, I left the county and went to live in the provincial capital. But oddly enough, that faint haunting is still felt.
I thought maybe there was an element of restlessness in my bones, and then I was aroused and never fell asleep again.
It's 2012, and watching a movie is a completely different thing than watching a movie back then; and with video sites all over the place, these have become readily available. But I never dared to watch the movie again. I'm afraid that time will swoosh back to the simple and spacious county theater, and then see the child who was shocked to the point of concentration.
