In fact, the perceptual knowledge after seeing it is only about the passage of time and the difference between people and people. When we first met, a girl's feelings were always poetry, and a simple idea was romantic. These two strangers, full of ideals and embracing a bright future, spent a day together in the strange city of Vienna, which had a significant impact on each other's future. On this day, they talk about each other's views of the world, without any scruples, with a little paranoia and innocence typical of teenagers. Before sunrise, everything is dreamy and unreal. In the end, the relationship sublimated, from the initial appointment not to meet again to meet again in this city half a month later. Of course, this agreement also seems quite sloppy and unreasonable. Here, Before sunrise is a perfect curtain call, and the audience is still immersed in a romantic date that is completely out of touch with reality, unable to extricate themselves, and can't help but start to imagine their bright future in the future. Therefore, the appearance of Before sunset seems logical. This is a story about ten years later. They sadly missed each other and had their own family businesses. The handsome young man was a best-selling author, and that book describes the story between them. He was so unforgettable about that relationship that he changed the trajectory of his life and became a writer living in memory. But back then she kept trying to cover up everything about that year, talking so passionately about the world she never paid attention to when she was young, and she seemed to never remember that adventure, but she couldn't help but break out of his no-show, which had been brewing for many years resentment and heartbreak.
Over time, perceptual knowledge gradually disengaged, and some rational thinking began to bubble up. I watched Before sunset first and then came to Before sunrise to learn about it together. Since these two films are veritable words from the beginning to the end, the content of the dialogue between the two people is more concerned than the plot itself. Then I found a very interesting phenomenon: the two people had a great deviation in the memory of each other's dialogue 10 years ago, so that the communication between the two people was hindered 10 years later. One possibility of this phenomenon is that there was a misunderstanding of the other party’s conversation at that time; the other possibility is that 10 years of constant thoughts and memories tampered with the original intention of the year, plus self-emotion, lack of emotional communication result. Of course, the 2 possible combinations are the greatest possibility. However, these three possible spearheads all point directly at the beginning: language cannot achieve the most perfect communication effect, and it may even be the source of all contradictions. However, the most perfect communication effect itself cannot be achieved, which is also a philosophical proposition mentioned at the beginning: in essence, there is no communication between people. Therefore, because language is the most extensive and largest common system built by human beings, and because of the human beauty endowed with it, the language system remains the greatest shared communication system in the world.
Let's go back to the movie itself.
Did they really miss each other? This is not the case. On the contrary, in the past 10 years, the memories of that year have penetrated into each other's life from various gaps in life, affecting their choices for the future. This is not a miss, it's just another way of existence, but what exists is the opponent of the year, the opponent of that day, the opponent who can't keep pace with him.
If I watched Before sunrise first, I would have intuitively thought that this was a good romantic love movie. However, the director stifled all the unrealistic fantasies about the future of the two protagonists in the minds of the viewers, and gave us a Before sunset to draw a realistic end to their affair. In fact, Before sunset is the sublimation of the theme of this film. In this film, the ups and downs of the two people's mood are no less than when they were young: temptation, avoidance, explosion, and finally calm down.
At the end of the movie, when the heroine turns her eyes away disdainfully and denies that the song was not written for him, she can't help but raise the corners of her mouth in the singing. I didn't look at him, but finally told her affectionately. And the male protagonist looks at her face while drinking the coffee she made for him. Those tender joys that have been replaced by indifferent elegance still make him feel so beautiful.
After many years, there is still a moment to let each other forget the world, which is already the best ending.
