The only vague impression of the movie is the classic scene of the protagonist galloping across the battlefield on horseback with open arms. I re-read and understood what I didn't understand before, and found that the film and "Avatar" have many similarities. The story of the integration of foreigners into primitive tribes and the destruction of the environment and ecological balance by modern people. The difference is that the latter chose to resist on the alien planet and won the final victory; the former chose to escape in the western United States, and finally surrendered and lost to reality. Movies from more than 20 years ago don't look outdated today.
