It's easy but hard to live

Another anime to watch with my nephew. He said that he had never seen fireflies. I was surprised at first, but then immediately felt normal. A child who has lived in the city since he was a child, he learned a lot of knowledge from books and TV. The things he has really seen are very few.
I checked online and found that the life of fireflies is very short, ranging from a few days to more than ten days. Its meaning is obvious.

Before watching this movie, I always had an idea that it is easy for a person to just support himself. I forgot about the constraints of the times, and the older brother in the movie is only 14 years old. In addition to supporting himself, he has to support his younger sister.
Suddenly thinking of "My Neighbor Totoro" I watched two days ago, there is one more comparison, and my heart is even more heavy.
To survive, not only for human beings, is an incredibly simple need. For other creatures, we have almost taken it for granted, because we have more advanced needs, and from an attitude, survival is no longer our need.

My nephew gritted his teeth as he took Setsuko to shelter at a relative's house. I'm not exaggerating. Seeing the truth in adversity is a small probability event, and there is no need to make a fuss. I saw a headline yesterday: Why can Americans who are afraid of death defeat the Japanese who are not afraid of death? I didn't read the content. Patriotism is too high, let's lower it a little bit, say the backbone, the backbone of ordinary people. Generally speaking, I admire people with backbone. Maybe they haven't achieved much later, but at least they still walk with their heads held high and sonorous. But for some people, because of the need for backbone, in the end only their souls are left floating around. Don't tell me your soul will be noble before you die, just ask yourself, the only best outcome is a little bit of comfort for you.

Extreme environments require extreme thinking, and they also use those ancient concepts to twist and pretend, and it is strange that they do not die quickly. To live is easy but also difficult.
