overall

1. The aesthetic part

The intuitive feeling is that almost every frame of the movie can be used as a wallpaper

Secondly, the brightly colored items are displayed in a simple and clear manner. The figures and postures are very artistic. It may also be complementary to the heroine's occupation.

2. The plot line part

Interspersed with the reality of the novel and the transition of the protagonist's past three lines are appropriate, whether it is the picture or the sound, it can become a tool for the director to start and change.

There is almost no extra plot at the beginning. The beginning is a bit intriguing (a bit too much...) The ending is very open and it implies that the heroine is revenge, but it is different from the ending I imagined at the beginning. I thought the hero would go blind with his left eye to go to the appointment, which would be a bit suspenseful

specific

1. Not much to say, it is definitely a good movie

2. It is worth brushing several times

3. The above personal views

The material world is in the wild west, emotionally besieged by the weak and the flesh is overwhelmed, and the helpless scholars are metaphors of revenge. Do you want to understand? Sit there and think again?

Leaving aside the movie, the gay director's temperament is indeed more delicate and sensitive, but as said in the movie, the other side of sensitivity may be cowardice. I don't think gay directors are more able to hold up the dome of art, because their temperament with two sides is sometimes too delicate and fragile. For a truly great director, it is not enough to be sensitive, but also needs more responsibility, emotion and thickness. Sometimes we are too complimented by such directors, TF and Dolan are examples.

Nocturnal Animals quotes

  • Tony Hastings: I wanna know Ray, I wanna know the exact story of what you did to them.

Ray Marcus: You'll have to ask somebody else.
