will watch it again

This is a sentimental movie. The entire movie is full of dialogue. I thought there would be a lot of war content, but it didn't. All kinds of speeches, debates, and conversations must be read with respect and seriousness, otherwise you may not be able to watch them.
"Abolishing slavery by amending the constitution is to bring peace to the world."
Pioneer, who has braved all the hardships to achieve human dignity and freedom, is worthy of being the greatest president of the United States.
The understanding is not very comprehensive. After understanding that period of history, I will read it again carefully. The filming is very good, those passionate words, every sentence is hearty. Worthy of Spielberg.

Although a little knowledge of the background history does not prevent you from being moved by the idealism in it, even knowing the results of the final voting climax is still exciting. There are many characters, many lines and difficult to understand, so tired to read, all rely on "the president tells you a story" and James Spader's surprise cameo adjustment. The two male protagonists are indeed godly acting.

Better than expected. In recent years, Spielberg's works are very ordinary. Because this script was written by Tony Kushner, it is a lot of wonderful. It is estimated that he was also invited to perform the surgery to show the current stalemate faced by the same-sex marriage bill and medical reform in the United States. Tommy Lee Jones and James Spader are great, not losing to Lewis. I never liked Sally Field's performances, but fortunately there is not much interference.

  • Abraham Lincoln: I ought to have done it, I ought have done for Tad's sake! For everybody goddamned sake! I should've clapped you in the madhouse!
