Warcraft, an underrated qualifying popcorn movie (partial spoilers)

Since the film review came out in May, I began to worry about the quality of the film, because the reviews given by the film critics were really low, but as an old player who started playing WOW in 2005, I decided to support the film. I didn’t expect to finish it at noon. It was fun, and then I swiped it again. Now I have bought tomorrow's tickets and prepared to swipe three times (the single dog is lucky to find that there is still a good IMAX field location hahaha). The overall feeling is that it is a qualified popcorn cool film, which is completely worth the fare for me.
First, let's talk about the plot. The general opinion of film critics before is that the plot is trivial and the explanation is unclear. It is believed that because the history of Warcraft is too complicated, who is the big boss behind the scenes, why the world of Draenor was destroyed, what is the guardian, what is the Kirin Tor, etc. No say clearly. In fact, I think these views are caught in the fan's thinking, because for a passer-by, they don't think about the above problems when watching a movie, as long as they understand that the orcs can't stay in the original world, so they can only go to Azeroth Come on; Gul'dan actually deceived the orcs, and his power will only destroy the world; the Guardians had been protecting Azeroth before, but unknowingly, it was made a big mistake by the boss control; Kirin Tor is a very good Broken tissue and so on. And these contents are clearly explained in the Warcraft movie. If you have any doubts when you recall the plot after watching the movie, you can learn about the entire history of Warcraft through Baidu information. For example, when I watched The Lord of the Rings for the first time, it felt like a cool thing! After reading the plot, I found that there are many questions, such as what identity Aragorn is, why he is said to be the orthodox king of Gondor, why the elves prefer him, how did Bilbo get the Lord of the Rings, and why Gandalf was resurrected. These questions were only figured out after reading The Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit, and even the Silmarillion after watching the movie. Going back to the Warcraft movie, I think the basic plot is still very clear, passers-by can understand it, and a little question may be helpful to attract passers-by to pay attention to the official history of Warcraft.
Next, let's talk about the effects. After the trailer came out last year, I felt that the CG was a little heavy, and some scenes felt unreal. But today's movie viewing may be due to watching IMAX, but I feel that this feeling is lessened. The magic part, whether it is fel or arcane, has a dazzling effect. Compared with the previous fantasy films in the low-magic world, it shows the magic effect of the high-magic world very well, and the production cost is very worthwhile. The muscles of the orcs are slightly exaggerated, but the skin and hair effects are well done, especially the effect of the wolf mount is very good. It looks majestic and will never be mistaken for a pig like in WOW hahahaha. However, some scenes still have a slightly heavy sense of model (that is, where villages are destroyed one by one).
Again, let's talk about the actor's acting skills. In my opinion, the acting in this film is definitely Yanzu! ! ! Although he can't show his handsome and handsome face, he can perfectly restore Gul'dan! It is said that in order to play this role well, Yanzu has been bending his knees all the time to do the movements, which is also very hard. Both Lothar and Medivh played well, Khadgar, mainly because I can't accept such a simple and honest mage, but they actually did well. Garona's acting skills are average, and her expressions are exaggerated in several places, but she does not express her emotions.
Last but not least, what I don't think is good. One is when Lothar Khadgar played against Medivh. There was a problem with editing the cliff. How did Lothar Khadgar hide behind the stone statue, and why Medivh didn't chase them down? It's not explained here. The second is that for female audiences, the overall appearance of the film is too low! There is no way to set the race in the orcs, and there are not many handsome men and women, especially the high elves! Maybe it's because of the soy sauce, it's so ugly! (crying)
