Compared to Tim Burton's other films, Dark Shadows is slightly chaotic and the ending feels rushed. But in today's crappy film dominance, this film is actually not bad. As a commercial comedy, at least there are some laughs, such as the scene where Uncle Depp climbed out and was frightened by a large billboard of M. It was too joyful. If you have high demands on Tim Burton's classmates, it is better to give up this play. Just watch it as a comedy.
Throughout the whole film, I personally think that the biggest complaint point is not the plot, but Depp's oily bangs that can't be melted, which is a bit disgusting. The witch's modern outfit played by Eva Green is too stunning and beautiful. Even if she becomes twisted in the back, it can't hide her charm. On the contrary, Uncle Depp's lover role is too soy sauce. I was looking forward to Chloe Moretz's performance, but the character looks a bit like making up the numbers.
