"Every minute, every second, we have to keep our feet on the ground." - "Vanilla Sky"

That every passing minute is another chance to turn it all around.

The title of the movie is very romantic, and the starring is Tom Cruise... If nothing else, I just downloaded this movie for these two things. After watching it, I was really "crazy", I thought it was a pure love film, and then I took a look at Tom Cruise's handsome face and the sweet love story in it, and then... perfect, A good day can end like this.

But no, this movie actually integrates science fiction, psychology, suspense, love, and thriller. In the end, I watched it in a fog. Fortunately, I finally clarified my thoughts and roughly understood the meaning of the film.

For me, this film is just telling another story and then telling us something.

The movie is about: David, the playboy, is too rich, because he has money and his son inherits his father's business, so he thinks life is boring. So he messed with others, not out of love, just because of emptiness and loneliness. David's buddy Julie is not willing to be just a buddy, but for David, his identity can only be a buddy, and David has his own life.

During another party, David fell in love with Sophia, his friend's girlfriend. Sophia was very beautiful and simple. This situation suddenly attracted David, and David suddenly felt "Ah, my life has started again. Hope."

So the movie begins.

Open your eyes!

At the beginning of the movie, there was a voice that kept ringing in my ears. This voice was "open your eyes."

And then we people watching the movie start thinking, what's going on? Are you dreaming?

Later, I saw David pressing the alarm clock, and then I realized that it was the sound of the alarm clock. It seems plausible to think about it this way, but from the first hour of the movie, chaos starts to occur in the movie. Because David fell in love with his friend's girlfriend Sophia, fell in love and fell in love normally, everything is normal so far.

But what about later? Afterwards, the film begins to be confusing. When David came out of Sophia's house, he met his ex-girlfriend Julie. Julie said, "Let's go for a ride!"

In the end, David got into Julie's car, and Julie was out of control, because Julie kept asking David if he loved him, but David kept avoiding answering this question, Julie was disappointed, out of control, out of control Julie, who got married, started to drive the car around, and since she didn't love her anymore, Julie chose to die together. This is the case with many women. Since they can't live together, let's die together.

Thinking of the Japanese movie "Day Yan" I watched before, it was still a very popular movie back then. After reading it, the husband cheated. As a result, the wife killed the husband with a car, and the wife survived with a disability.

A woman's love is: if you don't love, then die together.

This movie is also like this. David, who survived by chance, ruined his appearance, was extremely ugly, and completely lost his self-confidence. Not only is it not even clear, he has doubts about his own life, he can't tell what is real and what is false, and his obsession with Sophia is even more crazy, and he doesn't know which one is the real Sophia, no Know which one is Julie.

In the first half of the film, the phrase "open your eyes" keeps coming up, like a whisper. When I watched the entire film, I almost understood that this sentence is not just to make you open your eyes. It literally means this sentence is to let David return to real life and let David face the bleak life, although the dream is very beautiful. , but just like the mirror in "A Dream of Red Mansions", the front side is the beautiful Wang Xifeng who rushed over to massage and rub my shoulders to seduce me, and the back side is the skull's head.

The dream was beautiful, but the dream ended up killing the man.

David needs to wake up, because people can't just live in dreams. If people want to live, they must look at the real world and real life.

vanilla sky

The first half of the movie was really confusing, but it was only in the last half of the movie that I realized the true meaning of the movie. In the movie, the perfect dream is as quiet and peaceful as the vanilla sky, but no matter how wonderful the dream is, it is something in the subconscious. David needs to return to real life, and David needs to enter real life.

It takes courage to return to reality, because there may not be Sophia in reality. Just like in "A Dream of Red Mansions", after returning to reality, there is no way to have Wang Xifeng again, but people still have to return to real life.

In the end, Sophia came out to keep David, but David still jumped off the high-rise building from the dream and woke up from reality. The vanilla sky looks beautiful, and the vanilla sky makes people look romantic, but David finally understands that no matter how beautiful these scenery are, in the end, it is not real life.

What David needs to face is real life and his own heart.

At the end of the film David said: "I want to live a real life, I don't want to dream any longer."

When I saw this, I suddenly woke up. In fact, this is what the film is trying to tell us. In fact, everyone should live such a painful life. The Buddha said: "I don't go to hell, whoever goes to hell." Life is a big purgatory, no matter how miserable you are, you have to live.

So "open your eyes." If you can climb up in the hell of life, then you will feel a little less pain in life, but if you stay at the bottom all the time, then your pain There will be a little more, and you will be unable to turn around because of a little little thing. Therefore, each of us has to work hard to climb up and look forward.
