It truly shows the rebellious family situation in adolescence, the various difficulties faced by parents, the daughter's rebelliousness, as well as the discussion of faith and the definition of happiness. This film should be remade in China, the same story, different social culture, must be interesting.
In the last part of my mother's driving, I cried to tears. Many times we would rather share our true feelings with outsiders, and leave the worst side to our family. Because of low self-esteem and lying to new friends, I feel the same way. The cruelty of society requires us to use shells to protect ourselves, but in the end, we are beaten back to reality. Being who we really are is more important than anything else.
