the meaning of growth

It was a bit of a surprise to me that "Miss Bird" became an Oscar favorite. This movie doesn't have the same twisty script as "Three Billboards," or the stellar cast of "Darkest Hour," but it's probably the most down-to-earth entry. If "Youth" is the youth of the older generation, "Miss Bird" is the cardamom of my generation.

Shortly after the film begins, Miss Bird jumps out of the car because she can't stand her mother's ramble. I can't help but smile when I see this, yes, this is me! I also had the urge to jump from the car when I ran into my mother’s rambles, but considering the large number of cars in my country, I was basically run over by the following cars when I went out. In the last scene of the film, Miss Bird really left her hometown and went to New York, but found that she really loved her mother, and realized that her mother really loved her. She called her back and said to her mother, "I love you." Miss Bird The demon I made before is, in the words of "Three Billboards", "All you need is love!"

People say that your hometown is a place that you despise yourself, but whoever scolds it you will be anxious about it. This sentence applies equally to replacing hometown with family members and close friends.

Miss Bird is also very disdainful of her small town. "People who talk about California hedonism must not come to Sacramento for Christmas." Everything made Miss Bird want to turn into a bird and get away from here, so "My name is Miss Bird (lady bird)!" But when she did leave Sacramento, she found the outside world Not so good. She misses her Sacramento.

Everything was actually pre-rehearsed. Remember the little fat girl beside Miss Bird? her best friend. At first, Miss Bird gave up her in pursuit of her boyfriend, and had a hot fight with black girls. But Miss Bird took too much steps, and the tanned girl didn't trust her so much after finding out that Miss Bird was hiding something about her family. Miss Bird wanted to go back to find the little chubby girl, but to her shame, the little chubby girl did not accept her return. Miss Bird was embarrassed to get along with the black girl for a while, but before the prom started, Miss Bird left her boyfriend and the black girl, returned to her best friend, and the two spent time together. Last night of high school.

You can leave, you can change, but never forget the people who love you and the people you love, even if you don't realize it sometimes. It was only after she left and abandoned that Miss Bird found out who they were and re-acquainted herself. "Christine, my name is Christine."

Back to us in front of the screen. No one has the urge to fly, and no one has the desire to grow up overnight. When Miss Bird was 18 years old, she bought alcohol, cigarettes and limited edition magazines. She just wanted to announce to the world: "I have grown up! I am an adult!" And then? Alone on a street corner, miserable and miserable.

"The way you get meaning into your life is to devote yourself to loving others, devote yourself to your community around you, and devote yourself to creating someting that gives you purpose and meaning." -- Tuesday with Morrie

When Miss Bird really tried the name given by her parents and began to realize the love of her parents and the town, she really grew up.
