So these are the two logics of European and American horror films: either anti-science or anti-religion. This movie stood in the front team. But outside of this? There seems to be nothing. The movie simply tells you that science is not a panacea, and those psychotherapists will eventually believe in ghosts and gods.
Moreover, the film's emphasis on this point is also so abrupt and unnatural. It makes people feel a little missionary pressure. What they preach is teaching, they won't tell you any scientific principles, but only tell you that science doesn't work. Here is a ghost. To put it bluntly, you see, science doesn't work, and science has to yield in the end.
But why? They just don't say.
