Hannibal is reduced to a supporting role...

The third installment in the Silence of the Lambs series. The picture of the movie is a lot more refined, in the end it is a 2002 movie. But the content of the movie doesn't seem to have improved as clearly as the picture...
The movie is still the way of a psychopathic psychiatrist vs a psychopathic serial killer. The pattern is similar to Silence of the Lambs. But the male protagonist is much stronger~
Plot: Very cliché... Explain why Hannibal was arrested. The male protagonist is also very lucky... Luckily (unfortunately) to discover that his psychiatrist is an ogre, and faced with an obviously old Hannibal, he almost lost his life to capture him... The
plot is weak and complicated. The male protagonist can solve this incident by himself. Hannibal is optional and completely reduced to a supporting role...
Total score: 7 points

It doesn't feel as good as the first two, although Edward Norton's performance is remarkable

The final outcome was reversed for the sake of reversal, and it was a bit disappointing to abandon logic. The whole story is very exciting, emphasizing the analysis of the detective, the killer set and Ralph's acting skills are very good, Norton's performance is quite satisfactory. I, but I really don't like Hannibal, whose level is seriously down here.

Red Dragon quotes

  • Dr. Frederick Chilton: Tell me, when you saw Lecter's murders, their style, so to speak, were you able perhaps to reconstruct his fantasies? And, if so, did you jot down any impressions?

    Will Graham: No.

Dr. Frederick Chilton: Let me be frank, Mr. Graham. The first definitive analysis of Lecter will be a publisher's wet dream. I'd give you full credit, of course

    [Graham towards cell door]

Dr. Frederick Chilton: Dammit, man, you must have some advice. You caught him. What was your trick?

Will Graham: I let him kill me.

  • Hannibal Lecter: First he kills the pet, and then the family. Freddy was your pet, Will.
