Fear of the weak?

The Silence of the Lambs didn't remember much of the plot, and only remembered Jodie Foster's big eyes with confusion and fear and the firm lines on her lips.

As a sequel, in order to continue the fear from the bottom of the heart that the symbol of women appears, the choice of Edward Norton to star in the detective is probably because of the childlike weakness and loveliness of Edward Norton's temperament.

However, this movie cannot surpass the Silence of the Lambs, a movie composed of three men, and the male hormones are high. It may be said that fear comes from the bottom of my heart, and fear cannot be replaced by a woman screaming. However, fear comes from the fragility of the sense of society and the lack of self-confidence.

Jodie Foster will often play gritty victims in the future, and the horror of such a thriller works wonderfully, because, what could be greater than the fear of making a helpless woman brave? Fear amplified to the extreme is numb bravery.

So despite the sadness, I have to admit that the fragility of women appears in contrast to the strength of men.

To be honest, it is Ralph Fiennes who can better highlight the temperament of fear in the red dragon. The energy of extreme fear has been transformed into the worship of bloodthirsty power.

It doesn't feel as good as the first two, although Edward Norton's performance is remarkable

The final outcome was reversed for the sake of reversal, and it was a bit disappointing to abandon logic. The whole story is very exciting, emphasizing the analysis of the detective, the killer set and Ralph's acting skills are very good, Norton's performance is quite satisfactory. I, but I really don't like Hannibal, whose level is seriously down here.

Red Dragon quotes

  • Dr. Frederick Chilton: Tell me, when you saw Lecter's murders, their style, so to speak, were you able perhaps to reconstruct his fantasies? And, if so, did you jot down any impressions?

    Will Graham: No.

Dr. Frederick Chilton: Let me be frank, Mr. Graham. The first definitive analysis of Lecter will be a publisher's wet dream. I'd give you full credit, of course

    [Graham towards cell door]

Dr. Frederick Chilton: Dammit, man, you must have some advice. You caught him. What was your trick?

Will Graham: I let him kill me.

  • Hannibal Lecter: First he kills the pet, and then the family. Freddy was your pet, Will.
