Not much to say, let’s talk about your own feelings after watching:
"Alien Battlefield" (Pixar's first live-action film) directed by Pixar's famous director Andrew Stanton is quietly being released in China, although in the international market It has already achieved good results, but for the Chinese market with high expectations, it is obvious that fans who have watched it do not give praise for it.
(1) Why use 3D effects to express the film?
The 3D effect renders the entire film, but it does not meet the audience's taste requirements for 3D films. There are not many bright spots in the mediocre picture. Maybe after everyone is impressed with high-quality 3D films such as "Avatar", they don't agree with this film. Those flying aircraft, and the spectacular fighting scenes that are decent, actually all have bright scenes in the past sci-fi films. Deliberately using 3D to add highlights is counterproductive.
(2) The story mode is relatively old
The film is adapted from Edgar Rice Burroughs' 1912 science fiction novel "The Princess of Mars", perhaps therefore, the novel may indeed have caused a sensation 100 years ago, but 100 years later Seems so outdated. This is probably a typical American personal heroism: the hero goes to danger alone, becomes a hero of salvation, and finally returns as a beauty. The Ulla dog in the play gives the impression that it is quite cute, highlighting its characteristics of obsessively following its owner. However, if the entire script is changed to a woman saving a man (in line with the current situation when the two U.S. Secretary of State are both female generals), or if the male protagonist is reborn as a hero, he and the beauties defeat evil together, and it will become a good story. It will be a little fresh.
(3) The film also engages in layer-by-layer crossing?
The director is estimated to be influenced by "Inception", or he has read too many Chinese court scripts. The plot goes back to the 17th century from the 19th century, and then travels to outer space. The play travels through these three time and space. Finally, it returned to the original point and gave a surprising ending, which seemed to hang the nerves of the audience.
(4) The most classic scenes and the most impressive words
People who advocate personal heroism will never forget the scene of john carter fighting alone with the enemy after urging his loved one away, which is the most prominent scene in the whole film. And at the end of the play, john carter and Dejah Thoris fall in love perfectly is one of the classic scenes. The most profound words: "Warriors would rather abandon their weapons than their hearts", expressing the spirit of the warriors' persistence, bravery and fearlessness.
Finally, one thing that can be commented is that John Carter's running and jumping in the film is a bit of Spider-Man's expression. The overall performance of the film is not as grand as advertised, and the plot is not different from his film. It is recommended to check it on a computer.
