Everyone has a love for beauty, which is normal. It's normal for heroes and geniuses to be lonely.
But if HELLBOY's image is in conflict with our original hero image to slander it, it will inevitably be unfair.
A gorgeous appearance can arouse people's envy and follow, and people are easily inspired by it, and the heroism born in this way can easily go to the other extreme. Because when the hero is no longer the same, and people continue to fall for it, then collective irrationality can lead to disaster.
HELLboy is justifiably ugly, he doesn't need the world to like him, that's fine.
Don't laugh at him ugly, you are just to satisfy your own vanity.
