The score is too high

I haven't read the introduction of Stardust before. The high score of imdb8.1 + the plot of the magic movie made me download and watch it without hesitation, but it was not as convincing as the score, so I had to believe it. This should be a work adapted from a novel. Go online to Baidu. If not, it is really a novel adaptation. The unexpectedly high score of imdb can only be explained as the credit of the fans of the novel in the American movie friends. I feel that it should be 7.2. /10 A more reasonable

adult-style fairy tale = beautiful love + fantastic magical world. I
can't help but admire the imagination of the American people. A gem that inherits the throne even knocked down a star in the sky. When entering the atmosphere, "Meteor" accidentally sprained his foot -_-||| But this meteor really feels like a fairy, Claire Danes, likes
to look forward to Nicole Kidman's "Dark Matter Trilogy: Gold" Compass can perform better

"The film as a whole is basically perfect. The story is compact, entertaining, outstanding performance, exquisite special effects, magnificent scenes, magnificent music, the beginning and the end are responsive, the intention is ordinary but not vulgar, adult, fantasy, fairy tale, three elements in one No shortage, it's a rare masterpiece, the best fantasy movie of the year."

Compared to other magical dramas, I like this one more, but Dennis doesn’t seem to have eyebrows, and looks very uncomfortable.

Stardust quotes

  • Yvaine: Are you tempted?

    Tristan: Tempted, by what?

Yvaine: Immortality. Let's say it wasn't *my* heart. Not me. Just a star you didn't know.

Tristan: You seriously think I could kill anyone?

    [Yvaine giggles]

Tristan: I mean, even if I could... Everlasting life? I imagine it would be kind of lonely. Well, maybe if you had someone to share it with. Someone you loved. Then it might be different.

  • [outside the witches' castle]

Septimus: [as he holds a sword to Tristan's throat] Who are you? What business do you have here?

Tristan: [he sees the number 7 mark on Septimus' hand] Septimus... I knew your brother, Primus.

Septimus: Unless you wish to meet him in the afterlife, I suggest you answer my question. What are you doing here?

Tristan: I might ask you the same thing!

[Septimus realises that Tristan is holding a butter knife to his gut]

    Septimus: Ah...

[they both lower their weapons and peer through the window]

Septimus: There are four of them. Do as I say and we may stand a chance.

Tristan: Wait! How do I know you can be trusted?

Septimus: You don't. Why? Do you have a choice?

    Tristan: No.

    Septimus: Well then, let's go.
