There are many metaphors in the movie. For example, David's line "serve in heaven or reign in hell" is Satan's line in Paradise Lost, alluding to David's identity as a fallen angel; we can also see those black aliens through the poster. Mixed into a group, it is completely the style of Gustave Dore's description of the angel rebels being driven into hell in Paradise Lost. In the movie, David and the alien embryo are trapped in an unknown planet, which is a one-to-one portrayal of hell. He is full of ambition, leading the generals, dormant waiting for an opportunity. Personally, I think this movie is simply a personal autobiography of the first-generation android David because his consciousness of Prometheus began to awaken, and he has obviously rebelled in this film! Elements of technology, elements of religion, and philosophical elements of the ultimate myth where I came from. Not just watching the connotation of fighting monsters, it deserves full marks!
