today finally had the opportunity to go to the cinema to watch the rave reviews "Kung Fu Panda 2". I have to admit, Lao Mei did a really good job, the plot is in place, the details are in place, and the thing that saddens me the most is that all the Chinese elements are in place. Our Tai Chi culture, our martial arts culture, our various cultures are vividly depicted by a group of foreigners who are not Chinese. After reading it and laughing, what is left? Is there a trace of anger? Is there a trace of sadness? Is there a trace of dissatisfaction? Why can Laomei do this, we can't. Why can they show Chinese culture to be admired by the Chinese people, but the Chinese people don't want to see what the Chinese have made. We are the heirs of these cultures, but we cannot understand so thoroughly, why! I am sad, I am angry, I am not reconciled. Why let others steal what belongs to us and then make our money. Stuff, if only it were stuff, but it's culture! Others are borrowing our culture, and now they are borrowing. One day it may be stolen, and one day it may become theirs accidentally.
I am an international student and I went to high school in Canada. Every time I hear that China and Taiwan are regarded as two separate countries, I get angry, and every time I hear people's disdain for China, I get bloated. A lot of people don't care and feel it doesn't matter. Many people complain that China is not good or bad. Yes, I also think that the government has done a very poor job in many places, so why keep it secret. But anyway, this is the government's problem, and it doesn't represent our country. A bad government doesn't mean our culture is bad. If we do not love and cherish ourselves, who will cherish. If we don't care, who cares?
I still remember the feeling of watching Kung Fu Panda I in 2008. I didn't know it was from DreamWorks at first. When I watched the movie, I laughed very happily. After watching it, I told my classmates that China is very good, making such a good movie. My classmate looked at me with contempt and said, Chinese? Can China make such a movie? Decades later. America's! America! At that time, there was a feeling of being pushed hard and then staggering back to our "home".
Some people shouted boycotting this film, some people shouted plagiarism, why no one said that we do not cherish our own culture. In fact, I also read some articles about saying we don't cherish. If we all have the same ideas, why don't we all work together to protect it.
Protection does not mean that you have been saying good things about China, it does not mean that you have been flattering the party. To protect is simply to protect our own culture. Inheritance, inheritance, don't let them slip away from our palms easily. It will never happen again that we spend a lot of money to buy Dunhuang frescoes from scholars in other countries. We can't afford to lose!
One day the essence of culture is stolen, and one day the culture dies, and the spiritual connotation left by the Chinese people will really go away.
I don't want this, so I care, I want to change the status quo, but my own strength is too weak, not to mention I'm just a yellow-haired girl under 17 years old. Since I went abroad, I can see both the good and the bad, I can see news that many people in China cannot see, even if there is a lot of negative news, even if I see the truth of some things, even if I know Those facts that the government is unwilling to admit, I still love China. Looking at the development of China, I am still very proud, very proud. I always tell others, im proud of being a Chinese.
To be honest, I don't know how to change, I have a strong desire to change, but I don't know how to change it. How to do it, so helpless.
I know that this article may not be read by a few people, or that many people will criticize it, but I really hope that more people can really care about it. If we don't care, no one really cares. .
These are my feelings after watching the "Kung Fu Panda" series. "Love yourself and respect yourself in order to win the admiration of others."
