I think going to the cinema should focus on telling the story well.
The main characters of the movie are: wolf child, wolf mother and wolf mother, black panther, bear, snake, monkey king, tiger.
Among these characters, the ones most closely related to the wolf-child behavior are the black panther, the bear and the tiger. The appearance of the snake is only to forcefully tell the wolf child's life experience and relationship with the tiger. The monkey king appeared to forcefully tell the wolf child that his father was killed, and he could use fire to avenge it. So the snake and the monkey king actually don't have much to do with the wolf child. But the wolf dad and wolf mom, who should have the most direct relationship with the wolf child, didn't show anything. The wolf dad didn't even have the right to speak. He died like this without doing anything.
This film has become a remake of the cartoon "The Lion King", the wolf child is driven by the tiger (but also in the same valley, the same cow), the wolf child travels with two companions, the tiger kills the father, the wolf child gets The power goes back for revenge. The storyline is the same.
However, it has forgotten the characteristics of this story. The wolf child grew up in a pack of wolves, the attributes of man, and the way of life of wolves. In the film, the wolf child should be in a process of self-recognition, which can be seen from the wolf child thinking that the forest is his home at the end. But the film does not show why the wolf child behaves like this. Rather than the wolves being his family, the panthers and bears are the ones who are protecting him. And why the wolf child burned the whole forest, other animals still prefer him and reject the tiger. The screenwriter did not show us these processes, nor did they explain them. For no reason, the wolf child became a hero who set fire to kill a tiger (makes people look like a fire fighting hero). So far, the characteristics of human beings growing up in wolves have no role in this main line. Just imagine that if you join the wolf child and replace it with other real wolf babies, he can also make the same journey. Avenge his father with help.
One film review mentioned the original book, and I think the adaptation of this film is indeed a failure.
In addition, I spit out what I think is unreasonable. The director should ask the wolf child to walk on all fours during the shooting. Children must have a learning process when walking, not to mention children who grew up in a wolf pack. (Remember that in artificial intelligence, the child did not blink during the entire shooting process in order to better perform the robot.)
In addition, the director seems to want to say that because he is a human being, he is born intelligent, and he has various routines in his mind without learning or imitating. Art of War, the whole is a bit speechless.
