Mechanical hard drive vs solid state drive | "Terminator: Genesis"

There are four types of robots in the film, namely T-101 (Lee Byung Hun), T-800 (age spots Arnold), T-1000 (young Arnold) and T-3000 (Zhuang Conner).
Their hardware and operating system are built by Cyberdine. The T-800 and T-1000 are made of superalloys, the difference is that the former uses a fuel cell for energy, while the latter uses a more efficient hydrogen fuel cell. T-101 is made of liquid metal that can be imitated and deformed at will. T-3000 is more advanced. It seems to be a combination of magnetic particles. It is considered black metal. It is equipped with an operating system that is highly mixed with the human brain. Therefore, the imitation ability is higher and the concealment is stronger.
The reason why the T-800 has been able to win many battles in many battles is that Zhuang Connor rewrote his CPU in the early years, so that it has the ability to learn and self-evolve. In other words, the T-800 has become a readable and writable mechanical hard drive, while the others are read-only solid-state drives. The former is very warm and loving, the latter has no emotion and coldness, and in the end, love overcomes coldness.
However, at the end of the film, the T-800 was thrown into the liquid metal pool by the T-3000 and upgraded to the T-1000, and the old governor was given a new look. But here is just a hardware update, not the operating system, as you can see from the still bad smile at the end.

Many people think this film is not good and fall asleep, but I think it is very good, especially watching this film after watching a domestic film for two months, it is as fun as watching a striptease after being released from prison.
It's not that the quality of domestic films is not good, but that all domestic films have been castrated or self-castrated because they are afraid of the prostitutes of the yamen. This is the lingering pain in the roots of even the best domestic films. Western films are different, they are purely catering to the needs of the market. Self-adjustment in order to meet people's needs, and compromise with authority, are two completely different attitudes towards filmmaking.
The film itself is also full of highlights. There are petite meat girls, cute and tough guys, realistic special effects, spectacular scenes, love and affection, and a parallel timeline proposed for the first time in the Terminator series. This is the first film. Serious as the terminator of sci-fi films, isn't it good! Even if there are some flaws in the detailed settings of the robot (for example, the T-1000 has a neat set of gums after peeling off the shell and showing up with a pure metal skeleton), it does not hide the flaws!
Of course, there is also one thing that the savages can't understand, that is, how did Zhuang Conner cause an explosion when he was thrown into the space-time shuttle in the end? Sparks detonate fuel? You are smart to help me solve it.
PS. Khaleesi has bumps in the hospital basement parking lot.

Terminator Genisys quotes

  • Garbage Man: [the garbage truck's engine stops] What the hell? Goddamn son of a bitch...

  • [first lines]

Kyle Reese: [narrating] Before they died, my parents told me stories about how the world once was; what it was like long before I was born; before the war with the machines. They remembered a green world, vast and beautiful, filled with laughter and hope for the future. It's a world I never knew. By the time I was born, all this was gone.

Kyle Reese: "Skynet," a computer program designed to automate missile defense. It was supposed to protect us, but that's not what happened. August 29th, 1997, Skynet woke up. It decided all of humanity was a threat to its existence.

    [scenes of mass destruction]

Kyle Reese: It used our own bombs against us. Three billion people died of nuclear fire.

Kyle Reese: Survivors called it Judgement Day. People lived like rats in shadows, hiding, starving, or worse, captured and put into camps for extermination. I was born after Judgement Day, into a broken world ruled by the machines. The worst were infiltration units that posed as humans. We called them Terminators.

John Connor: [finding young Kyle in subterranean tunnels] Are there others down here?

Kyle Reese: And then one man found me. His name was John Connor, and he changed everything. John showed us how to fight back; how to rise up. He freed prisoners. He taught us how to slash the machines to scrap. People whisper about John and wonder how he can know the things he does. They use words like prophet. But John's more. We're here because tonight, he's going to lead us to crush Skynet for good.
