Speaking of "Terminator", what is your first impression: Muscular man? artificial intelligence? Liquid metal? Or childhood? I still remember the first time I watched Terminator 1 with my dad when I was a child, it was just like the first time I watched Dragon Inn, Alien, that was so exciting. But what can be left in the memory is only the robot played by Schwarzenegger. After the great development of movies, various sci-fi and fantasy movies appeared in large numbers, which made me ignore the robot uncle who once fascinated me. Therefore, the purpose of this viewing is just to remember.
Let's talk about the movie itself:
the story is the same as everyone said, and there is nothing outstanding. After all, this story has been around for many years, and the background and main characters of the story are basically well known to everyone. So this time, even if you travel through it many times, it will not bring satisfaction to the audience. Maybe it's because Liquid Metal in Part 2 is so ahead of its time that it's impossible to imagine something more advanced to surpass it.
As far as the male and female protagonists are concerned, it's just nonsense, and they can't feel love at all, so the final kiss is too far-fetched.
However, the new element added this time is the aging of the T-800. To be honest, when I saw the white-haired T-800, the first feeling was funny, and the second feeling was still funny. At the same time, T-800 has been repeating one sentence in the whole play: I am old, and I can't help but laugh. However, when I saw that I was getting old at the beginning of the film, it gave me the feeling that the director was spoofing the governor. In the later arsenal, when loading bullets, when the manipulator did not obey me, I was old and a little sad. When I got home, I was moved by the thought of the T-800 being old. Although, the heroine of the whole film has always called T-800 a father, but the role played by T-800 is obviously a partner! All the purposes are for the safety of the heroine, not to do anything to hurt the heroine, to die for the heroine, and never give up. In contrast, the male protagonist's love seems so pale.
Well, I know, the director didn't want to express this meaning~
No matter what, I will still watch this as a romance movie.
