Mulan (1998) is one of the very classic animations, but as a post-90s generation, I have never watched this animation (it should be called an animation more appropriately).
There is a very important reason for watching the film - English dubbing. While I was watching it, my roommate came over to take a look and said, "This animation is well done, and the domestic animation is also very well done." Then, after a little bit of popular science, Mulan (1998) is the first American Disney to use Chinese elements as the theme of the film, adapted from the Chinese folk Yuefu poem "Mulan Ci" (this is really a classic in our country!!!!), It tells the love story of Hua Mulan, who joined the army for her father to fight against the Huns, and achieved great success at that time.
From the current point of view, the movie is still very good, and it is more than a little bit stronger than the current domestic productions such as "Bear **" and "** Sheep". The characters in the movie are very nice, Mulan has a plump figure, is smart and clever, dares to act, dares to love and hate. In addition to Mulan, there is also a Mushu, which is lively, funny and cute, adding a little laugh and a bit of mythology to the movie. Simple but not complicated, complicated but not chaotic. When Mulan stole her father's armor and weapons in the middle of the night to join the army for her father, the background music was very bright; when Mushu was awakened, Mushu's appearance was very funny; when Mulan pretended to be a man and dealt with men, it was a little bit more Can't laugh or cry; Mulan blows up the snowy mountain to reverse the war situation, showing Mulan's wisdom; when it is discovered that a woman was abandoned by her peers, she still cares about the country, and of course the funny Mushu eases the heavy plot a little; and finally destroys Hu Ren Shanyu's tricks were rewarded by the emperor and admired by the general. The narrative of the story is complete, the rhythm is just right, sometimes it is not too heavy, sometimes it is not forgotten. In the end, Mulan alone saved everyone, which seems to have been reflected in personal heroism.
Having said that, I am a little disappointed and a little hopeful for Guoman now. It's a pity that a Chinese story like Mulan, which is a household name, has to be filmed by Americans. It's a pity, and in 1998 Disney was able to make such a movie, which is really amazing. At present, compared with the two well-received animations in my country, one is "The Return of the Great Sage" and the other is "Big Fish and Begonia". However, the former is more like American animation and the latter is also quite similar to Japanese comics. Guoman still has a long way to go. Need to go (specifically do not comment on these two). However, there is still a lot of progress, and I hope Guoman can go well. expect.
