"One word from you will silence me forever" ?

I take back all my words. The movie is amazing! With 2-3 sentences, Mr Darcy was able to confess his undying love for Elizabeth. I think that's really beautiful. “I would have to tell you that you have bewitched me, body and soul and I love… I love… I love you” - Mr Darcy

Despite it being a romance genre movie, there was so much meaning to it. The entire movie was based on the Pride and Prejudices of Elizabeth and Mr Darcy. One should not expect the movie to be filled with corny love or affection. The undying love was expressed in the language instead ?.

Initially, Elizabeth was seen as person with pride while Mr Darcy as a person with prejudice. Elizabeth was quick to make judgements as Mr Darcy described her as “tolerable, but not handsome enough”. Mr Darcy was also rich and had influence, while she did not. Hence, Elizabeth judged him without understanding him and this led to her level of pride to increase.

Mr Darcy's prejudice started to decrease after Elizabeth declined the proposal. He probably expected her to accept it as he was rich and had the social influence that her family needed. Elizabeth's family was not that well off and was seen hasty and greedy. Her mother was eager to push her daughter to an advantageous marriage that would ensure comfort and wealth. And of course his level of pride went down too. ( after all, who's pride wouldn't be hurt after getting rejected from a marriage proposal? )

It was only after Mr Darcy gave her the letter explaining about Wickham's past and why he felt that her sister wasn't compatible with Mr Bingly. She started to regret on her prejudice against Mr Darcy. This analysis could go on, but that'll spoil the story, hence, I think I shall stop here ?.

Overall, it's a movie worth watching if you're into the romance genre and English?. The English used in the movie was literally testing my level of understanding for the language. I really enjoyed this movie and would rewatch this movie in a heartbeat ? . My rating? 5/5! ?
