A rich handsome guy meets a poor beauty at a social dance and falls in love at first sight, but he puts on an arrogant attitude. The beauty was very upset when she saw the virtue of the handsome guy. Coupled with some hearsay and some gossip, the misunderstanding is deepening day by day. But don't worry, as the story progresses step by step, the misunderstanding is gradually resolved, and the lovers become dependents. It is a radish and a pit, everyone is happy.
In the movie, the handsome guy told the beautiful girl that his arrogance was out of inferiority. I can understand this. I've done this before. But I always feel that this handsome guy is not that simple, not that he is not shy by nature and deliberately pretends. Instead, I feel that in a situation where everyone is scrambling to compete, maintaining apathy appropriately may be a good strategy in terms of impressing people. In communication, this is called differentiation. Of course, the movie tells us a truth, the premise of doing this is that you must have money. Otherwise, that is not called a strategy, it is called poverty.
