Real movies.

A movie released in the United States in December. It's not a big production, so I didn't pay much attention before. I accidentally saw that there was a DVD download, and the IMDB score was quite high, so I dropped it.

After watching it, I was very moved by a movie. Speaking of American family movies, such as "my sister' keeper", the relationship is very strong and tearful. After all, you will feel that such things are too far away from your life. Another example is "Little Sunshine", too positive and too "sunshine". Although optimistic, I always feel like drinking coffee with too much sugar and only sweetness. And this one is relatively real.

The old father has four children. This is the first time they have gone home for the weekend together since his wife passed away. As a result, they called one by one to release Dad's plane. So my father ignored the physical problems of his fibropulmonary left over from his many years of occupational disease, and ignored the doctor's advice, decided to find out. Thus, this grandfather's American road movie was produced. The old father searched all the way. The painter's son disappeared. The family of the successful advertiser's daughter broke up. The son who thought he was a famous conductor was actually a drummer in the orchestra, while the youngest daughter had an unknown sexual orientation and had an unmarried daughter. Everyone tried their best to hide and pretend to be okay, but in fact, the old father was very clear in his heart. In the end, the incident finally broke out after his father had a heart attack, and the truth about the death of the painter's son due to excessive poisoning was finally revealed. Everyone reached a reconciliation and enjoyed xmas.

It sounds very plain. But I was so moved. It's different from the ease of watching "The Hurt Locker" last night. This movie, these emotions, everyone will meet. Whether it is a Chinese family or an American family. I will also habitually report good news but not bad news. In fact, my parents may know my worries. Sometimes I call my dad on weekends and watch him carefully use various skills to tap my work and my life, and I also witty show the highlights of my life time and time again. Whether it was unhappy that day or not, whether work really enjoyed it. Because I'm afraid of my parents and say, "If it doesn't work, let's come back. What if we can support you for a few more years." That is my tear. As children, I hope they can be proud of you.

Speaking of the movie, when his son David said he wanted to be a painter when he was young, his father said, no, you have to be a painter. Do the same thing, but the painter only paints where the dog peeing. I think such guidance is a natural response of every conscientious parent. Kai-Fu Lee, who is known as an education expert, also mentioned this guiding concept in the program. In the movie, this became an excuse for the children to complain about their father. I don't quite agree with this.

The soundtrack of the movie is very good. I really want to find out those songs. Unfortunately, I am really not familiar with the songs.

The movie details are handled very well. For example, the poor father missed the shuttle bus without distinguishing the time zone (the Americans are too troublesome, five time zones!), did not call any of his children, but relied on a black stranger to show the way. For example, when he goes through an underground tunnel, he sees the tramp being pitiful, and gives him money. The sentence that your parents know you are like this, shows how he feels as a father, but he will teach others because they didn’t say thank you. Coming, it also resulted in the final being robbed of money and the medicine bottle being punctured. The old father wrapped the bottle of medicine that had been trampled on again, and the scene of taking it secretly seemed so helpless. Lots of such details. That moved me.

overall, is a good movie, suitable for watching movies with parents at home during the New Year.
