A good story requires dramatic artistic processing

8 points is overrated, it was adapted from a real event, and the director's intentions were good, but his feelings could not cover up the obvious problems in the film's structure, which led to a greatly reduced look and feel. The focus of the film should be that the Afghans in a certain village rescued the male protagonist according to ancient traditions and sacrificed the lives of the whole village to protect him from the Taliban. This is a very shocking story, but why only give So a little time, and the shots and lines are very, very few, and the plot of this part is also simple. If there is no introduction to the end credits, this pale part will be even more powerless. Such a top-heavy, putting the cart before the horse arrangement weakens the theme. Most of the film is showing the battle between four US soldiers in the forest on the mountain and a large number of Taliban militants, and this could have been passed by means of lines, camera editing and other means, making time to tell how the male protagonist was rescued by Afghan villagers. The meticulous persecution; how the villagers were threatened and persecuted by the Taliban, and who were hurt but still persevered; how much the villagers sacrificed to protect the male protagonist when the Taliban swept away, and how the male protagonist was saved by the wisdom of the villagers, It is even possible to continue the development of the friendship between the male protagonist and the Afghan villagers who rescued him a few years later. This part of the film presents too little and too thin, perhaps because the facts are relatively simple and there is no drama, but since this is a film and not a documentary, artistic processing is a necessary means to sublimate a good story! It seems that the director doesn't love this story enough, but it's a pity that it's a good story.
