love story

I think this movie is a love story. This is the director's third film, and all his styles are fully established and defined. It's just that the beginning part is a little confusing. People who have crossed over 20 years have to compare who they were before. This may be the director's intention, I think it is a bit deliberately style for style's sake.
I appreciate the confusing (inexplicable) behavior of characters, probably not all people have complete logic in real life. But controlling the weight of this behavior is a tricky thing to grasp.
What moved people in the end was the love between the unrelated siblings... I like this part.

Dad is honorable. When everyone keeps denying him, he has been confused and shameless, and when he is helpless, he let go of obsession and let go of himself. Weiss created a number of delicate and clear drama conflicts, which seemed to show the various emotions of the family life, the emotions that could not be compensated, and if I had to list one, two, three, and four, it would be a long one. Even though it was so tangled, the single order of, moved a little bit of it.

No matter how high the intelligence and no matter how successful a business is, it cannot fill the void of the spirit. Human beings should remain humble before a grand and unpredictable destiny. Winners in life will also be overwhelmed by traumas and misfortunes. The arrogance and arrogance that we may have when we are advancing will be turned into dust. This is why we cannot leave the various forms of spiritual comfort such as religion, family happiness, and addictive substances.

The Royal Tenenbaums quotes

  • Eli: [reading part of his newest novel at a press conference] The crickets and the rust-beetles scuttled among the nettles of the sage thicket. "Vámonos, amigos," he whispered, and threw the busted leather flintcraw over the loose weave of the saddlecock. And they rode on in the friscalating dusklight.

  • Eli: I'm not in love with you any more.

Margot: I didn't know you ever were.

Eli: Let's not make this any more difficult than it already is.

    Margot: OK.

    Eli: OK, what?

Margot: OK, I'm not in love with you either.

Eli: Yes, I know, you're in love with Richie. Which is sick and gross.
