What does it mean when a movie has the Quentin label on it?
Chapter-style plot, lengthy dialogue, surfing music, food, foot control, blood plasma... cool.
Quentin's cool, carefree, direct, and not sloppy, you don't need to reminisce after the fact, it is the moment, the original desire for destruction in your mind at that moment. The pleasure it brings is no different than that of thousands of different forms of art, which we sum up as beauty. Beauty may require an intellectual process when it is created, but it does not need to be interpreted when it is experienced. Quentin knows this, and one day you will too.
