However, everyone's body is so small that dreams will eventually bend their waists. Loneliness, the uncooperative people around them, the intimidation of enemies, and the betrayal of friends make their hearts accumulate fear and worry; while conceit, hatred, and impatience make their hearts distorted. Such torment is unbearable for even the most capable people, so many people give up the noble and resort to insidiousness. Their dreams have also turned into deception. Just like Stalin's purge, the chair Mao's revolution was actually due to human frailty.
Lawrence is also twisted. But when he was conceited, he was insulted by the Turks. The fragility of his body may have made him understand that in fact, this dream is difficult for mortals to bear. This suspicion grew in subsequent events, eventually causing him to let go of his dreams and become a mortal.
However, in human history, there are still some truly great men who carried their dreams to the end. Like Gandhi, like Mandela. But they all became strong after being tortured.
A small body, a big dream that is really hard to bear.
