My classmates and I watched the original English version of the game at 7:20 pm at Poly Bona Xintiandi. The attendance rate is very high, about 80%, but it seems that many of them are group tickets. The digital version is clear, fairly clear, very clear. The original English version still sounds a little more pleasing to the ear than the dubbed version, but the English in it is not a standard American accent, but it is easier to ding dong. The level of subtitle translation is quite good.
First, let's talk about the plot. Because I have played the original game, I don't know what the plot of the game is, so it is not easy to compare with the game, but on another level, it represents most people. The previous plot trend is relatively conventional, but the ending is really something I didn't expect, and I was a little surprised. The plot of the movie is relatively compact, one link after another. It can be said that the narrative of the whole story is still very good. Of course, there are some moderate places in the middle, but it brings out a few funny characters and scenes, which are not far from the center and can play a role in adjustment.
Action and graphics are the most commendable places. This movie claims to have introduced the now popular "parkour" element, which was also used by the producers to hype it up. The implementation proves that the parkour element is indeed not covered, and the rhythm is fast. It can be seen that it is completely the real movement of people. It looks very real, with little or no slow motion like jumping from one high-rise building to another in The Matrix. It's heartwarming to watch. Personally, I think it can be compared to some kung fu movies (perhaps because of aesthetic fatigue~~ ). As for martial arts, many of the actions are based on the element of "parkour", which is relatively new. My evaluation of actions is like, like, like. On the screen, because many of the storylines of the film are unfolded in the desert and surrounding cities, the screen has a strong golden atmosphere of the desert. At first, it may feel a bit rustic, but after seeing it, it will It feels a bit resplendent, very distinctive, but some people may not like it, it is a matter of opinion. But since I watched the digital version, I have nothing to say about the picture, so I have to like it.
As for the characters, the heroine's acting is very good and very good, especially her temperament is very similar to the character setting of the film. The male protagonist is also a bit refreshing. It is really like what I saw in the introduction of a film before. There is neither the greenness of the day after tomorrow nor the melancholy of the Brokeback Mountain. It still feels relatively atmospheric, but personally I think There is still room for improvement. I still want to praise Jake Gyllenhaal here. It can be seen that he has put in a lot of effort and is very hardworking. It is not easy to develop such a body of muscles at first, and it is also very difficult to perform so many actions ( I don't know if there is a substitute). Each supporting role has its own characteristics. I would like to mention a few characters who are responsible for adjusting the atmosphere. They can really make people laugh. The characters are well designed and the performances are not bad.
Other aspects such as costumes, props, sets, etc. are relatively good, I don't have much research in this area. In addition, in terms of music, I really didn't pay attention. Maybe I was completely attracted by the plot and actions of the film. I just listened to the ending song carefully at the end and thought it was good.
All in all, I think this movie is worth watching, it beats Du Lala and others, and I personally put it before Ip Man 2. I haven't watched Iron Man 2, so it's hard to compare.
PS: Why is the Chinese name "Prince of Persia: The Blade of Time"? Why isn't it translated into Sands of Time...
